There will plenty of ways around it, the web is so porous and wankers have more time and energy than salaried, stupid governments to get around such censorship.

It'll be too bad if they come after sites like this and it has a bad effect on people sharing as much as a result though.

Nothing to say torrents will be affected at least. & even if they do VPN usuage should not put a dent in the free access we've all had for the last 2-ish decades

It won't work anywhere except in the country that tries to apply it and good luck with that in places that like freedom and it will only only apply to commercial subscription sites where they can't see anything without getting past a paywall that will require full ID that will include driving licences and passports. How many people do you know dumb enough to give that info over to a porn site? Countries can ban websites and that but there's ways around those bans. UK government tried to demand backdoors past Apple's encryption and Apple refused. They pulled that part of their business from UK instead. The rest of the world isnt affected and brits are pissed they don't get Apple security anymore. Not really a win was it. Same will happen with online safety.
