jdownloader said dead k2s links, but I then assumed he checked so I went back in chrome.

k2s initially says dead links, but then REDIRECTS to live mirror.

In "my" post, the 4k redirects, but the 1080 is dead dead.

I have no way to spread the word to the entire community, assuming this is right of course.

I have no idea how many links I assumed dead that were in fact, still gettable from k2s, probably fboom and tez as well.

I hope some of you with big post counts can ship this in your signature if this checks out.

Just as an FYI - that same redirect does NOT happen when using Firefox (version 134.0.2). Hopefully Firefox (and JDownloader) add this capability.

I've noticed this for a few months, I guess k2s calculates the MD5 of each uploaded file, so you can be sure of a true copy. So, if a file is deleted but another has the same MD5, the site suggests it.
BTW, Firefox also redirects to a copy of a your file.

K2S site looks completely different today. I wonder if all of these dropped downloads were a result of an upgrade in progress.

Speed seems much improved as well.

FWIW, the redirect is now working with Firefox (same version 134.0.2). So, it must be K2S handling the logic.

Guys like previous 3-4 days this is unusually happening to me..
I click to download file from fileboom from planetsuzy.org, then i go to Jdownloader to download the file..File starts with 200kb/s which is ok..The problem arises here..If for example wifi gets broken, when i start to resume the file, speed goes back to 50kb/s and never goes up again..
Previously it would let me download/resume 200kb/s within the 24 hour time frame when i click the link from planetsuzy. I must say that my IP address stays same only connection to router gets broken for some reason.

Anyone going through same problem ?

Right now K2S and FJ are slow as hell getting no higher than 30K. I know it's has nothing to do with my internet because I downloaded a Steam game update of 700M taking about 15-20 minutes. I just now did a 100M Deposit File as a test and got 350+KPS taking under 3 minutes. It's been this way for the last few hours.

Also I tried to continue after pausing for those few hours on K2S files with Firefox and they still didn't go past 30K, but just now I reloaded a page to get a new K2S link and now it's back to normal at 150K.

What is going on?

Is it just me or does the new GUI format version of the TEZ download page now reject downloads that you try to send to a multi-segment download manager and instead redirect them back to the standard browser download manager instead (all automatically)?

This is at least better than RapidGator which just rejects multi-segment manager downloads flat out, but this is rather annoying since it's just another level of shitification creeping in.

Add: Just me then? Got ya. I see now that TEZ doesn't even wait for the download link to be copied anymore either, it just sends the download straight to whatever the default download manager is now as soon as the 'link' becomes available. If your preferred download manager isn't the default handler, then sucked in, your browser is handling the download whether you like it or not. I guess this is part and parcel of the enshitification of TEZ to 'encourage' people to pay up for Premium.

K2S has not been working for several days. Download page is there, but I click "Slow Download," get the "solve capcha" text, but then click it and nothing. No result whatsoever, as if it's a dead link. Tested with multiple files.

Fileboom and all other hosts continue working fine for me. Anyone else having K2S issues?

Nah mate, I've been hammering all of K2S, TEZ and FB like a rabid baboon for all of March continuously every single day trying to catch up on all that I missed for the entire month of February after my ISP swapped my connection from NAT to CG-NAT without telling me on 3 Feb. My connection was basically crippled for all of February, but since I got that sorted with a static IP and proper NAT, I've been going super hard to catch all the rest of you back up.

I'm downloading typically 20 x files simultaneously almost 24hrs/day everyday since then. Only around 15 of those are from K2S/TEZ and the split is basically 50/50 between them and I've noticed no problems at all since start of March.

K2S is working just fine. Only problem is sometimes getting the captcha to load, but that's a Google problem, not to do with K2S. TEZ has changed their GUI since I was last downloading back in January and now I see they refuse multi-segment downloader utilities, but it's not a big bother if your connection is stable enough. Resuming still works even without muti-part downloading.
