No, I have not, but I'm still quite confused about how everything thing works. Sorry, I'm the kind of person that gets paralised and overthinks at every obstacle. I have had a bit of a difficult time particularly with the hosting sites. Sorry for that.

Hi, there's a sister forum for planetsuzy called vintage-erotica-forum. It's a smaller forum and I don't think there are as many restrictions on new posters. That may be a better option for you, especially given the porn era you mentioned as collecting. And the community over there is pretty welcoming.

That's good advice from ZamIt. As for what hoster to choose you should think and rethink why you want to share with the community. If you are indeed an 'old hoarder', a porn connoisseur of the 90s and 2000s, you probably aren't motivated by cash. If this is true you should choose a user-friendly host like Mediafire, Mega, depositfiles, or possibly 1fichier. 1fichier is very stable but you need to register since file retention is ridiculous for unregistered members.

Cash is not my primary motivation, those would be give a meaning to the stuff I've accumulated, but also organising it, spread out in 5 or 6 (maybe 7) hard drives. It's a real mess. I've also only recently become somewhat aware about video quality, so I'm replacing a lot of the stuff I had whenever possible.

Those would be the main motivations. Cash is just some extra incentive and help with the costs. Crystal indicated some problems with 3 of my hard drives, totalling 6Tb, so I'm afraid I might lose that. I've also been going to flea markets to get DVD's from content that cannot really be found in higher quality on the internet anymore. I've only been able to find some older DVDRips at resolution 480p or lower. I also plan on subscribing to some sites of stuff I'd like to have, but cannot find (which would be another motivator).

I don't know if that seems fair to you, but in my culture we say something that roughly would translate as "combining useful and pleasant."

If I understood correctly, I have a 20-post limit per 48-hour period, yes? I couldn't find anything related to how it's counted. Is it from the first post? I understood you prefer the posts grouped together. I was wondering how it would get counted if I posted a chunk on one thread right away and then another chunk on another thread a few hours later or maybe the following day.

A few other questions:

I checked the Hard Group Models forum and saw some threads there that could coincide with prohibited sites. Is there a differentiation between site and studio?

Also, Hard Group Models and Ethnic Love encourage using already existing threads, but can I post on other people's threads in General Porn? I kinda like some themes I found there (Real Orgasms mostly).

I realise I should get to posting relatively quick and can learn more as I go. Just a final question: is there a problem if I include different resolutions for the same video in one post?

Post limit... There are a few limits. I think what you've described is right. It's one of the more confusing rules.

General Porn - almost all of these threads are per user. Generally you don't post on other's threads. You can always ask the poster if you can add something, but mostly the answer is "no". Other threads like you mentioned (Group models, PATM, Ethnic models) are open for anyone who posts according to the theme.

Different resolutions? I've seem in the high definition posts with multiple high def resolutions. Same for regular low definition. But that's in the PATM forum where there are separate high definition and low definition sections. In other places (General Porn for example) I don't think it's a problem if you mix high and low def resolution, as long as it's the same video scene. So yeah, multiple posts of different resolutions is fine unless it's in a forum specifically aimed at one of the resolutions.

I used to moderate General Porn. You must ask permission to post in a General Porn thread that you did not start, unless it's specifically stated in the first post, that all are welcome to post in that thread. Otherwise, there is sort of an ownership to those threads. Whomever starts a thread, 'owns' the thread.

There is no min/max on General Porn video resolutions. It's pretty much wide open. Think of General Porn as a 'proving ground' for newer members, like yourself. There are rules, but less strict than sections which require Registered User status, like Pornstars/Adult and Teen Models (PATM).

According to their profile, viadelmare hasn't been on this forum in almost a year, so I wouldn't bother asking...just start your own General Porn thread. There is no barrier to entry. As long as you follow the rules, you'll be fine. I've seen your Forum Help thread and I believe you're massively overthinking it. If you happen to make mistakes, you won't get permanently banned right off the bat. You may incur some warnings (or even some infractions), but those are learning tools for you, to not repeat those mistakes. We have plenty of VIPs and even moderators (including myself) who have received warnings (before we were moderators). Trust me, it's not the end of the world.
