Forum over https planned?

Hello,

I was wondering if the owner of this site has plans to use https?
Since the beginning of this month, chrome has started to show a warning page saying that the site is not secure and i need to click on the Proceed button to see this site again. This is not a blocker, but is annoying because each time I want to refresh the page after a certain amount of time that elasped since my last visit, the warning shows.

Forum migration has been planned for a long time. Things happen and plans have been delayed. When will it happen? I don't know. Only a couple know and I'm not even sure they know. I can only suggest using Firefox, which doesn't give me any problems like you've described.

Edit: You're not the first to ask and I'm guessing you won't be the last. Don't hold your breath, just use FF.

I'm sure this thread can be merged into Forum Help...

I use Firefox and was blocked last week from the "unsafe site" of planetsuzy, it took awhile to find that my cable company was causing it. I am wondering how many others have been effected as I see a drop in views with my post.

The use of http is fine for simpler websites, without a login. This site doesn't fall into that category though. So if you aren't encrypting to here somehow yourself then all your browsing here can be very easily looked through by providers and others and sold on if they choose. This is pretty basic internet knowledge by now.

I had the same thing happen, but it wasn't just Firefox, it was Chrome too. I knew the cable company was blocking PS, but I had to figure out how to whitelist PS. It took a while to figure out, but I eventually did...obviously...

I don't give a hoot about my views. But I guess that's because I don't make money via the forum...

Good luck selling porn data to advertisers (because let's face it, that's exactly where they'd sell it, if they could). Remember the shitstorm that the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" caused in the USA? Yeah, we're still puritanical (and duplicitous) in the USA, so go ahead, sell my PS/porn data, cable company. Maybe if my cable company sold my info to P0rnHvb, they'd know I'm sick of these cross-eyed "Ahego" morons and retarded "plots", like step-porn. So it could be a positive thing, if they (P0rnHvb and other sites) could cater to our exact tastes.

I really don't give a shit if someone knows I visit (or even mod) a porn forum. The vast majority of people consume porn on some level and the other bunch of people are just lying and say they don't consume porn, because they're duplicitous. Plus, PS is all above board AKA 18+, so there's nothing to be ashamed about. One time I bought a vibrator for my girlfriend and it shipped to my home. Ship it in a see thru box for all I care. I should be ashamed about giving my girlfriend more pleasure? We're so "bass-akward".
