I can think of a lot of other pornstars and not one of them have any sort of lingerie or articles of clothing that I would want to buy. If you're somehow trying to justify it for yourself to buy, it's your money your kink.

I equate this to buying game worn equipment from athletes. I get how one must feel some sort of connection to the original wearer but at least with game worn athletic gear, there's an after market if you want to consider that. Let's also take the pornstar equation out of it and say it was a Hollywood celebrity's worn article of clothing like the Marilyn Monroe's gown from a movie- you have to understand the motivation for people to purchase this sort of stuff. They're obviously devotees of that person on some level. There's also an investment value to them as well- and the people buying that sort of stuff want authentication.

There are collectors out there that would be completely satisfied with an autograph. Ramp it up a bit and one might settle for an autographed baseball or a ball cap. And there are others who would gladly purchase anything and everything from that star- but it takes an entirely different level of collector to want Yogi Berra's athletic supporter.

So don't think that just because some of us are just willing to limit our contact and devotion (and funds) with a favorite star, porn or otherwise that it's insane. Some of us are just content watching them from afar and don't need to ramp up that level of contact.
