Kelsey was awesome as a newbie, but went downhill pretty quick. Personal fave was the scene in "Little Darlings" w/ Leah Luv (who has since gone wild with tattoos).

She was on the feature dance circuit, as well. Had a chance to see her but never did. Heard somewhere that she had a pretty good show.

It's one thing to get arrested and have some legal issues when you're young, but it's another when you're in your elder years and still this stuff is happening. I happen to be a fan of vintage porn too, although certainly not all of it is "golden."

Here are mugshots of some of the stars from 70s,80s, and 90s.

Rebecca Brooke/Mary Mendum was considered one of the more classy and beautiful stars of the 70s. Later in her life, she had lots of troubles including getting arrested (in Florida naturally) for domestic abuse and stealing stuff from a restaurant she was working in. She allegedly drowned in a canal after a fall in 2012.

Sahara was a gorgeous black woman that became one of first black stars in the business back in the 1980s. She has a classy air about her too. It looks like she's had a rough time of it, in more recent years. She's been arrested a few times in California the past few years. I suspect she has mental illness issues and may be homeless.

Lauryl Canyon was a cute, athletic, enthusiastic blonde who was in and out of porn from 1987 to the early 2000s. She was still looking good and in shape in her last movies too. Things seem to have taken a turn for the worse in recent years and is looking rough. She was arrested in 2021 in Arizona for Aggravated battery and for a time in 2023 was listed as being a missing person. I'm guessing she's since been found since she's not listed on the current missing person listing.

Misty Regan started in porn while underage in 1979 and stuck around on and off until the early 90s. She was married to direct John T. Bone at one time and he didn't have very many good things to say about her. I got the impression she wasn't the most popular person among a number of other people in the business back then either though. She married a regular schlub and have lots of drama in recent years. On their wedding anniversary she attacked him because she was happy with the gifts he got and was arrested. It made the local news and lots of comments were made online about her very unflattering mugshot (and yes, that is really her). I don't think anyone noticed her as "Misty Regan" though since the years haven't been kind and she looks totally wasted. Then a few years ago their trailer burned down, and they ended up living in a used RV that was pretty beat up and the guy that does the Jizz Talking podcast had a fundraiser to get it where it was inhabitable.

Rebecca Brooke only did about a dozen films back in the 70s and most of them were softcore. Not sure where you got the "classy and beautiful" regarding her. She was a pretty girl who did a little porn and some men's mags.

Shara was a great performer back in the day, with lots of performances. But there were plenty of other black female stars back during her time as well. She wasn't one of the first.

Too bad about Misty and Laurel. I was never a fan of theirs, but they were both beauties back in the day.
