![]() Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a SIMPLE slideshow program, just a drag and drop into a window and play, no fancy script, music, etc. Can anyone post a program or link to one? Thanks! |

![]() I have tried the slideshow program under the Photo tab, but it's not very simple or intuitive.

![]() You can try Wondershare's DVD Slideshow Builder.
Although it says "DVD", you can actually export to any video format you want, and play the file wherever you want. Code:

![]() You should also check out FastStone Image Viewer. It's a freeware image editor with a slideshow function too. Load in your photos and then hit S is all you have to do.

![]() VLC Player for me.
Initial one time set up for the time duration for each photo. Open program, then select & drag from windows into VLC. Click media - Save playlist to file. As long as name or directory doesn't change, you can easily review it at a simple double click on your saved playlist file icon. Pause, play, Fullscreen.... All easy. |

![]() FastStone Image Viewer has been my go to for years and years. It's a tiny little program and does a LOT.

![]() I have organized all my photo collection in series, which I put into a .rar file and then rename it to .cbr (comic-book reader).
I create the rar file with the store/don't compress option, because everything works faster this way. The advantage is that instead of navigating lots of folders, I can have a large collectinon of series in a single folder, choose which one I want to watch, double click, and enjoy it. It's also significantly faster for copying to external media or mobile phone. Many programs are able to reproduce CBR, on PCs, tablets and mobile phones, just choose to one it fits you better. |
