Guidelines for Report Dead Links and Duplicate Threads

Below are some guidelines that I have written because I'm seeing a lot of mistakes in Report Dead Links and Duplicate Threads.

• Please make sure you are not reporting links that are already in the dead section. Examples below:

• Please make sure you are ONLY reporting PATM links. Most sections have their own "report dead links" thread. If you read the first post in Dead Link and Duplicate Threads, you will see this:

• Please use the report button for duplicate posts, mistakes and rule violations. Dead Link and Duplicate Threads is not the correct method or area to report errors, such as incorrect model, model information or file host(s), etc.

• There is no need to include the name of dead links – Example: FB, K2S, FJ, UL, DF - moderators can see dead links. However, please let us know if you are reporting dead links or duplicate threads. Just type dead or duplicate. This will be easier for you and easier for moderators.

One or more of these guidelines may apply to you. We all make mistakes (even me ) but let's try to make less of them.
