It's fixed now but ISP blamed us, what would cause an ISP to block

android updates. Cause This happened around Noon monday . But the time I got dad to call (his account) it was Tuesday 4pm. They blamed it on us until they found out I'd found out VPN's (this was Hide.Me) that I sideloaded on via dropbox and in one case via usb cause I didn't want to mess with his dropbox.. .. They were allowing me to update my android apps... Tons of complaints at Google Android support I think was something I thought too and I think that's the reason I was I guess the first one to notice. Once the entire staff figured out they couldn't download thru the folks they are working for. Like okay we'll try your VPN. Everyone of them could update. So finally they said that's not you. There would be a misconfiguration and one said he might know what it is. and 30 minutes later that was fixed. Not getting paid for it and I was the only one there to wonder is it the ISP. Nobody getting 495 errors had ever thought of it. I followed their directions no help.. So I was wondering if anyone here who knows anything about networking would know what the misconfiguration was. Update? I don't have a clue.. I just basically got some good comments from dad saying he's pissed at the ISP for blaming him and credited me with being right , nevermind being the first in the city to figure that out. Okay should I get paid for that lol .. j/k pic is before me finding the VPN..
