Not even close to true.

There are at least 3 allowed filehosts here that have NO wait time at all. Zippyshare, Mega, and Solidfiles.

The majority of hosts all have a wait time of an hour or less, regardless of how many files were downloaded previously. Filejoker's 6 hour wait time is an aberration, and it's the only one given "special privileges" on this board with such draconian restrictions.

Let's look at the most popular hosts used here:

Keep2share & Fileboom: Wait time is one hour after the START of a previous download. There is a daily limit of somewhere around 5-8 files, but you can download 5 files in a 5 hour period.

Rapidgator: Wait time is 1 hour from the completion of the previous file. Every time.

Depositfiles: Wait time is 20 minutes from the start of the previous file. Every time. Basically you can download 3 files an hour all day. I've downloaded as many as 50 files a day from them anonymously.

Filefactory: 45 minute wait time from the start of the previous file, all day. I download close to 30 files a day from them, no account, no captchas either.

Uploaded: 3 hours between files, but it's always 3 hours. Still better than 6 hours.

Even Filejoker's sister site Filefox is less restrictive. It's a one hour wait for the first 5 files.

That's right, but the waiting time on other hoster does not grow exponentially from download to download.

People, I know a lot of you aren't crazy about FJ, based upon your individual experiences. But that doesn't mean you have to unload on Max; none of your issues are his fault. He is a member here, just like you and I, but his role here is primarily to respond to your concerns about the service.

Problem is... he's become the undeserved lightning rod of your hatred of FJ, in many instances. He doesn't have to be here doing this; you can just post your attacks and have admins roll their eyes and do nothing, if that's what you wish.

Though some of you may not dig what Max has to say at times, he does provide another option besides going to FJ's website itself. We, as a board, do bring a lot of business to FJ, and in return, we have a member here who is an FJ rep. He deserves the same respect as does every other member here.

Please keep that in mind, as well as the fact that with everything going on in the world today, an issue with a filehost should be pretty far down the list of one's daily concerns...

I've also given up on using FileJoker, due to the waiting times, and the issue with downloads failing at 99% which was never fixed. I'm wondering, though, why so many uploaders use it as a host? Do they get something out of it? I don't know that much about the world of filehosts, to be honest.

Read again, nothing has been said against Max its only complains about fj, Max justifies fj policies so maybe it seems to you its against him.
NB: I would'nt call Max a member as he is active in this topic only, He is more an FJ ambassador to Suzy.

Do you monitor this thread 24/7/365? Of course you don't and therefore wouldn't know whether any posts attacking Max had been posted and later deleted by a Moderator "reason: personal attack"

I've seen at least three from members who shall remain nameless.

Bitching and whining about FJ in general in this thread is not a huge issue with me; a lot of people don't care for them for various reasons, and I get that. But when it's directed at Max, who is not personally responsible for anyone's FJ issues, that is where I draw the line... a line which a few members have come close to crossing as of late.
