Scenes like "Gladiators" / "Pirates"?

I was looking on a retailer site for films of a specific star and came across Pr!vate's Gladiator series. I downloaded Rita Faltoyano's scenes and really like the costume play and just the vibe. There's even a scene where there's a fucking lion in the background just chilling there while a girl is getting pounded. It's just so bizarre, at least by today's standards it would be, but the setting, costume play and the girls are spectacular.

I've also seen the Pirates series by DP. It differs because of the overall production value and big name actresses compared to Gladiators, but I like both of them.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any other films / scenes that are similar in nature in terms of Rome / Ancient Greek / Pirates / "Adventure" costume play? I know of a scene with Brett Rossi and the Xena parody but not much else.

Yeah, the costumes can be really hot. One of my favourite Jenna Haze scenes is in Pirates #2, with Evan Stone. It's only short, but very sweet. There isn't too much of this in porn I don't think, especially not big-budget stuff. Very few companies have the money for that, and I don't know how big the paying fan demand is. Your next best bet is the any number of "Not that/This isn't" parody scenes. Most of them are trash I think, but I have occasionally seen some decent parodies. The costumes in them tend to be hit or miss though, even in the good ones.

Yeah, a lot of the Parody stuff in the industry is pretty lacking.. The next best thing to the two mentioned above honestly are probably Game of Thrones and Spartacus (the actual series'). I really have never seen another big budget with the production value of Pirates.

I do know of the Army Girls parody by Marc D0rcel. There's some decent scenes in that one as well, but I prefer the stuff like mentioned previously in the thread.

I'm willing to pay for stuff I like. Ive bought a few DVDs over the last couple years, but when something stays 50-70$ indefinitely and never goes on sale like Pirates it's kind of hard to commit to which is probably why there hasnt been a Pirates 3. Gladiators is much more reasonable at 15-20$ a piece, maybe because theyre about a decade older but who knows.

According to my database I have 25 paid for DVDs. I'd say that's more than the average person has, but that's over the course of probably six years.

In the 90s, there was the Pyramid trilogy: Private Gold 11: The Pyramid 1, Private Gold 12: The Pyramid 2, and Private Gold 13: The Pyramid 3.

The setting was ancient Egypt, and the production values high: no one spends that kind of money on a porno these days...

Yeah, I have a feeling we probably wont see a Pirates 3 or something along the lines of a series with actual plot line like Game of Thrones or the like which is kind of unfortunate because it gives the stars a chance to develop their career and potentially enter mainstream later down the line. It's a career crossroad opportunity for them if they choose to do so, but like you said no one is going to pay that kind of money.

I've seen the Game of Thrones parody with Marie McCrae and Spencer Scott. The Marie scene was more humorous than erotic because of how they tried to hide the guys legs. I guess that would be the "parody" portion..
