Tonight was the first time uploaded required AdBlocker to be turned off. Last week uploadrocket told me that the speed would be greatly reduced if I kept AB on. I did so, and saw no change in the usual speed for them.

That means they have to write some extra code just to do that!.

I hardly ever use them, but for me it depend on the style of ads they have running.

Depositfiles now runs banner ads etc, I don't mind as long as malware is absent but sites like Uploaded who mandate you go without protection are just a joke. I just stop using Uploaded, Upload rocket and Bigfile, they are a constant source of malware. Just not worth it no matter how good the porn is.

In the last couple of weeks ransomware as a free user by the various file hosts is getting out of hand. Someone needs to put a stop to these companies trying to take over our computers and forcing us to pay to get rid of the supposed problem. It just happened again when I went to DL a video as a free user using file factory. I had to shut off my PC and reboot it to get the page to stop loading with a screen and annoying buzzing pretending they were from Microsoft.

Regarding file hosts that insist you turn off your add blocker, Don't Do It!
Instead only download links from that host with a download manager like Jdownloader to bypass download pages altogether.

This is exactly why I stopped using BigFile in my music thread, I had no idea they forced you to do so until someone requested I upload one of my posts to a different file host.

As for Uploaded, I've never liked it. It's shit for free and unregistered users and now that they force you to turn off AdBlocker, it just reinforces my opinion of it.
