Sure I used it. I used it for years and years. It was awesome in its day. Then everyone left for torrents and file lockers and the quality diminished. A lot. It's like anything else: the quality depends on the quality and number of users.
Why did people switch? A lot of it has to do with knowledge. The Usenet is harder to use. You have to know something. Torrents and file lockers are easy.
Haven't been on it seriously in many years though. I don't even know what's out there in terms of providers and access programs. Maybe it's easier now than it used to be.

I'm still using usenet every day, for TV series, movies, games it's great.
About pr0n, well theres lots and lots of movies web rips, and so on.
The problem for me is finding a certain scene from a pornstar, for example the anal scene from lilly labeau, it's easy to find the entire movie, but that particular isn't.
