jdownloader is free. there's an official dev site. it just has a banner that advertises premium hosters but there's a link for a no banner option. i think you can manually disable the banner too. there's also a portable version but is a bit trickier kuz you'll need to get the portable java app to run with it. it's also not official so use at your own risk. if you find the portable page the instructions will be there.
