With the retiring of some of my favorites like Jenna Haze and Daisy Marie, i was wondering if we should start a consolidated list of Gen Y (for lack of a better term) pornstars who have quit and why.

I'll start off:

Jenna Haze: Quit in 2012, because of boyfriend (what i think) and she wants to stick to directing content for her studio JennarationX

Daisy Marie: Working as an accountant (according to her twitter), still does photoshoots

It's hard to know what happens to a lot of women when they leave "The Business" since so many of them are looking to move on. If I were a porn actress looking to leave the business and my persona forever I would probably try to have a fake death announcement.

Tiffany Million: Bounty Hunter, uber-conservative Tea-Partier living in Arizona.

I'm sure escorting, dancing, stripping remains a pretty big side business for them long after they stop shooting pics and videos. Apart from those tangents it seems like the best post-porn straight-job options for people in the business are some kind of self-employment or jobs where their porn past isn't an issue. I've heard that Apartment Property Management and Real Estate Sales & Management are popular choices.

Service jobs where they have some choice in who they work with are also popular like hair-styling, personal assistant, wedding-cake baker, dog-walker, miscellaneous instructor (dance / yoga / tennis / driving / traffic school).

Office jobs or corporate life doesn't seem too compatible for someone with a porn past. And as we've seen in the news lately diving into becoming a K-12 teacher doesn't seem to work too well.
