Don't be fooled by the title. It's pure hype and has nothing to do with the plot, such as it is.

A must see for Cris Cassidy fans and lovers of campy, late-1970s, self-help self-parodies.

My own rip from the TVX dvd. Source is grainy and a bit scratchy -- not the greatest picture quality, but about average for a vhs or old film source.

My notes

Campy, low budget, oddball film, with the lovely Cris Cassidy in a starring role. Mostly unfamiliar faces -- besides Bob Bernharding, the only other performer I recognized was Eileen Wells, who has a brief scene in the final orgy. Apparently Miki Star and Sarah Lorhman were in a few other films, but the rest are unknowns.

See this link for another film with much the same cast probably made around the same time.

There is a lot of anal sex for a film of this date, and one unknown actress even does A2M (ass to mouth).

This was made during the disco era, and we can see the marquees of several discotheques advertising nightly dancing. Note in the second scene at Kathy's apartment, Bob puts an 8-track tape in the stereo, which certainly dates the film.

The final scene that begins as a "sensitivity session" with the black guru called "Dr. Good" -- and which predictably turns into an orgy -- is almost a self parody of the self help generation. Hard to tell whether it was meant to be tongue in cheek or whether the writers/directors really took these ideas seriously. Now, thirty years later, it just seems silly IMHO and worthy of at least a chuckle if not a good laugh. Enjoy!

I'm disappointed that this latest version is not an improvement - it's simply an old low-res version upscaled to full HD dimensions. The picture is actually worse than the previous versions.

Considering the low quality of the previous posts screenshots with low resolutions and low bitrates, unless somebody has better footage to start with upscaling alone is simply adding another re-encode to lose even more detail. Don't see any point even attempting improvement unless you have at least dvd resolution and bitrate to start with and even then results will vary depending how much time you want to spend on it and the original quality. My own attempt at upscaling to 1080p with Blonde Heat (thanks to the person who uploaded the dvd) took 18 hours alone just to deinterlace, crop and upscale with several filters. The recolour is taking far longer than I intended already with my limited software/knowledge!!
