For $100? I don't think so. Maybe 1 TB but not something like 8 TB. Probably used/second hand you might find your luck

Dr Memory on eBay has quite some good deals on 6 and 8 TB WD and Seagate drives right now.

I paid $139 at U.S. Amazon for my Seagate Backup Plus Hub 8TB right after Christmas last year and they've actually gone up to $153 now. Definitely worth it as well as the $9.99 Seagate rescue plan I had to use when I accidentally knocked it off a shelf and broke it with about 6GB of PS stored porn on it.

Sales in the US are typically $129 for that size (BestBuy just the other day for example). Normal price is more.
Increase your budget or get a smaller drive. |

Here in Italy we only have the Seagate Barracuda series of 8 TB HDDs (retailing for $169), and the WD MyBook Desktop Version (retailing for $219).
Both are pretty good brands, and they offer a great warranty program as well. Compared to 4 TB HDDs (that retail for $103), I would say that they're a pretty good deal. If you plan on spending less, be careful about refurbished drives. Some of these may actually have months of usage as well some bad sectors.
