Other variations of this question also exist, most of which you would have found if you had searched site help for 'short' or 'three-letter' - the answer to basically all of them is either:

Use a search engine narrowed down to PlanetSuzy.

In PATM, use the 'thread' option to put the thread list in 'Alphabetical order' and jump through the pages until you find it alphabetically.

It is not going to change, we cannot permit 3 letter searches - the database would not cope with the server load.

20 Pages? Odd, the most I ever get is 12 - because the site won't return more than the first 300 results.

With some 'selective' searching, I can get that even lower, for example:

Using 'Alexis' only, gets it down to 11:

Using the 'Advanced search options' to search 'Titles only' reduces it further.

But the big changes come when you use advanced search options, search for Alexis in 'Titles only' and then select individual PATM sections.

Some members aren't understanding the concepts that, so far as searching is concerned:

Forename + Surname is '2 names' not '1 name' and therefore less, not more, accurate.

Searching the whole post is going to come up with the first 300 posts which contain the name anywhere in the post - and sticking in a 'general concept' is normally just as bad.

Searching titles, rather than the whole post, should give less results.

That limiting searches to relevant sections, even if that means searching one section at a time, produces the best chance of 'accurate' results.

People not following these concepts are going to get lots of, often irrelevant, results - even following them isn't going to necessarily narrow it down as much as members would like.

The 'search engine' is not some super duper 'artificial intelligence' - you ask it to 'find' something - it will find it - it doesn't care that you have 'parameters' in your head - you don't give it those parameters where possible, it's not going to use them.

The only other forum I use does it the other way around, you put in what you want to find - it gives you every result (lots of them), then you have to narrow it down on the results page.

There are very few zippylinks in the patm section for obivous reasons, and there is no to search for filehosts as you would a large amount results back if you search by the popolar hosts.

Just search by scene name and hope you're lucky the files are alive or the scene is on a host you like
