from davidwatts........I highly recommend NoScript add-on for FF. Great for blocking those malicious scripts found on some pic hosters.

I just installed NoScript and what a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the recommendation!

On previous experiences with stubborn virus's, you know the ones that pretty much disable uninstal options, the ability to Ctrl, ALT, Delete etc. Ive restarted my PC and booted into Safe Mode and then using CCleaner and MalwareBytes whilst in Safe Mode seems to do the trick.

As for an Antivirus program, I recommend using Comodo Internet Security. It's 100% free for life and hasnt caused me a single problem since installing it.

trying to figure out how to knock off a tracker, I think it's one cause in spam someone claims to have gotten my password via an ad, ( probably Pornh*b) I've been having redirects mainly one that starts with Blob: and whatever link for a split second and it goes wherever and I really don't want to do a fresh clear of Opera if I can help it. And AVG and Avast ain't free anymore. Windows Defender missed it and Malwarebytes missed it and won't run in Windows 10's version of Safe Mode. And it's on an M2 drive so running it on another computer will be difficult. Have Avast running and that's tamped down on several and an popup / tracker blocker up on Opera.. Just asking anyone else other than Super Anti Spyware which seemed to kill alot of it but not all.

I am using ESET Smart Security 8 but not legit, a cracked version and it seems fine. I am using it for many damn years and its free. Whenever it updates, it always prompts me to update to the latest for free and if I continue with my version I will lose protection. But my version never got disabled. Your browser probably got hijacked.

trying to deal with it. backup bookmarks thats one thing I prefer my FVD speedial's #'s where they are at. That's the complicated bit. I have the user file mostly backed up to a usb drive from Feb 14 or so.. so It's not dead. Right now it's not going anywhere fast had to get on slow.... Chrome to get in here today. Right now have Avast (no longer free) with that SUPERAntispyware program running and Zemana Anti Logger as well. I had Eset once but it took exception to my Canon. Refused to run anything that said Canon so I couldn't print and I paid for that one Malwarebytes totally missed this one , a supposedly hacked ad.
