facebook fold-ins
what governs how pix are displayed in FB posts? sometimes they display in-line beneath the link, sometimes the link alone shows up, sometimes they display, but in a funny "infobox" kind of thing with 2 more copies (!) of the link to the right.
is it my settings? settings of the person receiving? something about the particular cites HOSTING the pix? i would just like them to land "in-line" 100% of the time. always annoyed when one lands as link-only. in fact, would like to do away with the LINK even -- seems redundant to have it right above the targetted CONTENT...which is hotlinked with the url to boot! ----- i was thinking DMs when i started this, but now i'm noticing that the treatment of DMs, posts to someone's page (incl my own), or REPLIES to such posts are all come out differently! given all this, i'm never certain how things are displaying to OTHERS either.... |

I think it depends whether the post is:
The opening post in a thread. A new post in a thread. A comment on either of the above. Zuckerberg's a member of a number of facebook groups should you wish to ask him, however, I've only ever seen him like posts, not comment. |
