Can mods pass a new rule to ban shitty AI pics?
I'm starting to see more and more AI enhanced pics in the Celebrity pic thread. Like a lot of the ones involving Olivia wilde. Or just recently these http://veterperementour.ru/showpost.p...&postcount=302
They're labeled as HQ but really they just got put through an AI enhancer. The problem is turns out and looks like shit. IMHO we should be treating poor AI enhancements similar to how we do fakes I reckon |

I don't think so. The originals are on the previous page, much smaller resolution but they don't have weird artifacts. The so called "HQ" ones are clearly AI upscales of the original LQ photos as it has all the AI hallmarks of misshaped hands and lack of detail. Plus it's cropped; the original LQ photo had a watermark at the bottom. The whole bottom of the "HQ" image removed to eliminate the watermark/caption. If the HQ was original it wouldn't be missing part of the image. |

I'm not sure what a "No AI" rule in Celebs would do. It's early days and pretty soon the AI stuff will be indistinguishable from the real thing. You'd be better off with an "Original Photos Only" rule and even then, in a few years, you're probably not going to know with certainty, if it's the original; Especially as many of these women already employ people to retouch their photos, before they're released. I can see these people using AI to do this in the future, because it'll be cheaper, faster, easier and possibly better than a human could do.
