I better post this one here so a certain someone in GD doesn't have a meltdown, I love all 3 of them especially "the moose"
I would love to hear how they got these heavyweights to do a soap commercial. I bet this one set them back a truckload of money??? Hilarious 3-0 Leafs early in the 3rd. Toronto leads Montreal 2-1 in the series. Some pretty moist eyes in in Edmonton after our Oilers got swept last night by the Jets. Good luck moving forward Winnipeg. They will play the winner of the Leafs/Habs series Make that a 4-0 final as the Leafs take a stranglehold on that series. Do or die for Nashville, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, and Florida tomorrow as each trail 3-2 in their series Correction, Nashville is Thursday

My buddy steps down after Oilers get swept...
Gretzky leaves Oilers, takes TV job with TNT
by Josh Gold-Smith May 26, 1:46 PM Wayne Gretzky is departing the Edmonton Oilers for a TV job. He will be a lead analyst on TNT's studio show beginning next season, Turner Sports announced Wednesday. Gretzky will earn around $3 million per campaign, according to the New York Post's Andrew Marchand. "I’ve long admired Turner Sports’ coverage of the NBA, among other sports, and I’m thrilled to be joining the studio team in their inaugural NHL season," Gretzky said. "This is an exciting opportunity to share my experiences and perspectives on the game I will always cherish, while hopefully informing and entertaining fans along the way." Gretzky relinquished his role as Oilers vice chairman on Tuesday. ESPN reportedly approached Gretzky recently about a broadcasting role. His level of interest was unclear at the time. One day later, it was reported ESPN was out of the running for his services, and that he could still land at TNT. The latter is the other network taking over the NHL's U.S. TV rights next season. TNT's parent company, Turner Sports, followed the Walt Disney Company's lead by inking a seven-year contract with the NHL in late April. Turner has also agreed to deals with play-by-play broadcaster Kenny Albert and analyst Eddie Olczyk - both of whom currently call NHL games for NBC, and that network's broadcast rights expire at season's end. ESPN, which Disney owns, has reportedly hired Leah Hextall to do play-by-play. The company has also brought on Ray Ferraro and Brian Boucher to serve as analysts. Gretzky rejoined the Oilers as a partner and vice chair in October 2016, many years after achieving legendary status with the club as a player. He worked closely with team owner Daryl Katz and CEO Bob Nicholson during his latest tenure with the team.

Absolutely insane 2nd period on the Island as the NY Islanders break it wide open with 3 goals in just over a minute and 30 seconds to take a 5-3 lead into the dressing room. The Islanders lead the Penguins 3-2 in the series and can end it tonight. I dislike NY State but love the Islanders. The seats are full and the place is electric.
At least its not Connecticut full of 'tards lol. Speaking of the Penguins, my little buddy Sidney Crosby has an adorable gf named Kathy Leutner who is a delicious swimsuit model among other things. Here is one of my favs of her at a game... and a close up. 1-0 Lightning over the Panthers mid 1st. 2-0 Bolts after 2 Wild and Knights scoreless after 1 The Islanders move on after a 5-3 win. Brock Nelson missed an empty net for the hat trick

Canada got their first win yesterday 4-2 against Norway to go to 1-3. They take on Kazakhstan and Italy next so should be 3-3 by the weekend before finishing against Finland.
They pretty much need to win all 3 remaining games to even make the playoffs. Canada has never missed the playoffs... but did finish 8th once. 3-1 Montreal mid 2nd. Do or die for the Habs More scores later when i unhook the piano tied to my ass lol

Montreal scored 59 seconds into overtime to narrow that series 3-2 Toronto
Carolina evened the score at 3-3 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd after trailing most of the game. Carolina ended it 1:06 into overtime and sent the Predators packing 4 games to 2 The Wild said never say die and evened that series 3-3 to force a deciding game 7. The Lightning sent the Panthers packing on Wednesday

Canada picked up their 2nd straight win today at the World's beating Kazakhstan 4-2. Italy is next
The Wild and Knights do game 7 in just over 30 minutes. The winner will take on the Avs with game 1 in Colorado on Sunday. The Hurricanes and Lightning also start game 1 Sunday in Carolina The Islanders and Bruins game 1 goes tomorrow in Boston Game 6 between the Leafs and Canadiens goes tomorrow in Montreal. There will be limited fans in attendance. The eventual winner takes on Winnipeg in round 2. --------------- The Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) will be hitting the ice in the organization's first Canadian showcase of the Secret Dream Gap Tour of the season. Three teams — Team Bauer (Montreal), Team Sonnet (Toronto) and Team Scotiabank (Calgary) — will compete in a round-robin tournament culminating in a championship game on May 30. The tournament is being supported by the NHL's Calgary Flames. It has been a while since the majority of these women have taken part in a competitive game, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It's an important week for a number of stars who will be competing for Hockey Canada at the women's world championship this summer and in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics. - It looks like it will be team Bauer and team Sonnet in the final after team Scotia Bank lost again today at the Saddledome. I watched the game today and its great hockey. Kudos to the Flames for lending the ladies their house for the tourney. Not that they are using it themselves lol. Happy golfing boys

I’ve decided that my first move as a super villain will be buying the Vegas Golden Knights and destroying them from the inside. I want them gone!

^^^^^ The Golden Knights shut the door on the Wild in the 3rd period to send Minnesota golfing.
Maybe they should "play like a girl". (More below) #WomensMovementNeverStops I know how some of you knuckledraggers love hashtags lol.

6-1 Canada after 2 against Italy. Its all for not if they don't beat Finland in their last round robin game. Even then they need Finland has to beat Latvia, the USA has to beat Germany, and then Latvia has to beat Germany. That's a lot of what ifs
Canada started falling asleep with that lead and Italy snuck one in. Indianapolis 500 goes today with 135,000 fans in attendance which will electrify the drivers who really miss the crowds to crank them up. Btw that 135K is 40 percent capacity. "Drivers Start Your Engines" 4-0 Switzerland over Belarus late in the 3rd. Finland vs Latvia and Sweden vs Slovakia goes later today. There will be a game 7 as Montreal beat Toronto 3-2 in OT last night. Boston draws first blood in that series against the Islanders last night. Lightning/Hurricanes and Knights/Avs go tonight
