I've got Windows 7 and to be completely honest, it's a far better OS than XP, you can do a lot more with 7, in terms of customisation than XP. The reason so many people are hesitant to move from XP is because Vista was a complete and utter disaster, 7 is what Vista should have been. Support for XP was extended by Microsoft, but at the end of this year support for XP will finish, so there will probably be a lot of movement from XP to 7 at the end of the year. XP was and still is a great OS, very stable and reliable, but it's rather out of date, 7 is the way forward.

On my PC I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit but I'll switch to 64bit as soon as possible.

Also I'm using Windows XP on my laptop and sometimes I check out some Linux distros.

win 7 on my PC
and XP SP3 on my laptop.

i think xp is still better than win 7.

kinda depends. I the geek in the house. I've got a dell latitude where you can slide the drive out and switch it with something else. so I've got the latest ubuntu on one drive but mainly use Windows Vista Biz 32 bit rarely a crash problem although with klite windows 7 rocks on thumbnails.

my two old desktops Windows XP. Brother Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and Professional 64 bit. (yeah a year after he bought Windows vista 64 bit ultimate. who's got $$?)

mom had WIndows XP but it so sucked I switched hers to Windows 7. Windows Vista was overpriced at the time)

and Dad's got Windows Vista 32 bit and 64 bit Home Premium. Oh yes and thanks to Alexora upgraded OS 9 to OS X on the old Power Mac :P

Been using for years, so for me it's the best version

PC at home using Windows 7, but rarely use.
