Thanks alexora for these nice greetings. Megaupload is owned by a convicted crook. I prefer to take the money from FSc before I throw one ct into the greedy fat mouth of Dr Kimble. This doesn't stop me to upload from time to time some content into my free MU account

edit: i forgot to say that I have lost more files on MU than on FSc due to DMCA.

Personally, I've used both FS and MU while uploading, but eventually I decided to stick to MU only. It didn't make much of a difference because I never made any money, but I just preferred it when I downloaded files and I just wanted to give downloaders the kind of experience I liked. It doesn't matter who owns it as long as it stays the simplest way to download.

That's pretty cool for you to have met him.

However, the fact remains, that Megaupload is prepared to fight back.

If Fatso who runs it has a conviction on his criminal record, is not a factor that will take away from the admiration MU has garnered from me by having the balls to stand and not run.

I have been using 'The Megas', to upload files, exclusively for years and 99% of those files are still up.

In this forum, I have made many and many posts promoting them, suggesting our members take up what they have to offer.

On the whole, those suggestions of mine have been met with ridicule and contempt.

But the fact remains: I have posts that are years old and keep being downloaded:



If a member is looking to earn money by uploading files, then MegaUpload is most definitively not for them.
If they want to share for the pleasure of sharing, then it's MU all the way!

I had no intention on beating yours, or anyone else's stats: If your RS files have stayed up as long as mine have on MU, good for you. I wasn't posting to show off my downloads, but to show the longevity of my files.

The fact that I was able to receive over 20,000 downloads with a performer such as Anastasia Blue (certainly not a PS big hitter) just goes to show that should I have selected a more popular artist (eg: Tory Black or Gianna Michaels) My DL's would have been obscene.

My MU files date back to 2007: One has to look at what were RS' policies back then, what was the maximum size allowed to see why MU has been consistent as a good host.

You, of course, have not been one of our members since 2 years after my first uploads, but please do trust me when I say that RS was not an easy customer when I joined...
