Hans Gruber was the best bad guy I'd ever seen in a movie!
He was 69 too like Bowie! British, check. Artist, check. Aged 69, check. Cancer, check. Results: David Bowie Allan Rickman Anyone else fits? They always go in 3. |

These losses have felt like gut punches. Way too soon for each.

Good choice, but not as bad as Sheriff George of Nottingham.

Three faces of Alan Rickman.
Loved all his worthy and honest performances and he rarely mis-stepped. RIP sir.

geez, really sad to see
first saw him in Die Hard awesome in Sense and Sensibility he did an off-the-wall villain in Costner's Robin Hood ("going to eat your heart out with a spoon" and kinda a last farewell here, a letter he wrote when the Potter films wrapped also a video listing of his films http://mashable.com/2016/01/14/alan-...potter-letter/ RIP .

He will live on through his work. He acted Costner off the screen in RH PoT.
A great actor with presence, intelligence and skill. Sad news.
