I could use multi but not a big fan of it. But it works for me although I thought it was orange

oddest thing got thanked for a Kate Beckensale post and found out why I wasn't getting notices for her. I didn't unsub so not sure why I was Last update I had was Nov 10 when I switched drives because one has a recycling bin error, Even totally reformatting that drive didn't fix it . So switched to a white label Max Data around the 10th-12th (Moving 4 TB isn't often fast. Not over 3.0. esata was faster but not many computers have that anymore But the panic would be how'd I get unsubbed ? :O yeah I did remove some earlier in the year and around 2018-2019 because Nikki Sims is likely retired. and she shut down innerdeviant a few days ago. :O (dot com) which came as a shock to everyone including a couple of mods I primarily stopped most sites except here, a russian share site can't read what it says but I know which ones the pages go to. Been able to figure that out for a long time ago without chrome. and most of the Met Art sites I know. Probably eventually , shutting down ID might speed things up a bit but she's still posting vids. So not yet.

Search has issues, too.

often resulting in 502 Bad Gateway oder 504 Gateway Timeout error.
Works after several retries.
Normal browsing on PS works fine during the same time.

still not getting it. i click it once, it goes ON. i click it again, it goes OFF. no sort of "counter" or anything. u saying i just need to keep a running count in my head and say "ok, four clicks to grab larry's 4 sub-posts" despite button now appearing to be OFF?

and in any case, it's not even grabbing the FIRST one! here, for example, i start with your post (2280), click it ONCE (red/orange), then click "quote".

here in the prep window i only find your post, NOT THE NESTED SUBPOST of my orig query. which was the whole point!

oh, you're talking about something totally different -- plucking out the contents from several SEPERATE posts and folding them into one reply!

i'm just talking about replying to ONE post. but one which has quotes INSIDE it (which i've occasionally called "subposts").

if my last example wasn't clear, i'll try again: how do i reply to your post (only), but in full -- i.e. keeping the PatrynXX and Bigre2Bougre parts INSIDE it?!

this should rly be the default, yet any attempt at quote or reply strips them away and just leave YOUR (highest level) comments in the prep window. as seen here.

You have to manually add each quoted post by finding it and multi-quoting it, as advised - the forum software does not quote 'posts within posts'.

What you are expecting to see is this:

The forum doesn't create that, you would have to do it manually by getting the other posts and quoting them back into your post.

Left to its own devices, what the forum will give you is this:

So, in LongTimeLu's case, what I would have to do is:
'Quote' his post
'Open' your post in another tab, and 'quote' that.
Copy your quoted text, paste that in to the correct place in LongTimeLu's quoted post.

Then, type whatever I wanted into the reply post I now have containing both posts.
