Oh don't get too cocky. You were nervous watching that game, just like the rest of us :P. What a great game...the BHawks friggin brought it, and played their ass off. Not enough - but I"ll tell you what, they've made me a fan. When I'm not watching the Wings, I'll be rooting for them.

Now we get to have Crosby shoved down our throats again >.<

You'll hear from us again in years to come. Did you see that sweet goal by Kane? Get used to a lot more of that.

Though one local idiot here thinks the Hawks should trade him. It isn't as ridiculous as it sounds in that the Hawks will have a tough time signing all of their young talent.

It was a great game, and the better team won the series. No Blackhawks fan expected to really win the Cup this year. They had a great playoff run and gave a good showing in the final game. And Huet stepped up big time. He hasn't erased all the doubts about him, but he sure did some good for himself with that performance.

Here's hoping for a great final series between the winners of the Campbell and Prince of Wales Conferences. Yes, that is what they should still be called. What a silly decision it was to change them to the bland and standard East and West. Gary Bettman is an idiot.

I was watching the game and they were commenting on how much ice time our 4th line was getting, that shows just how deep the Wings roster is. It was nice to see Abdelkader score a goal, this guy has only played a few games in the NHL so far and Babcock is willing to have him play in the finals.

I remember when we got Wendel Clark from Tampa Bay, it showed that he scored a lot of goals and had a lot of points. But after looking at it closer, every time he was given the puck he would shoot it at the net. Although this gets his own stats up, it's not always in the best interest of the team. If you look at the stats, Clark would show twice as many goals as assists while Datzuk and Crosby show twice as many assists as goals. My point here is that you can't put the entire responsibility on the shoulders of just a few players in your roster, you need to spread it out. So it doesn't matter if the Pens have two of the three top scorers in the league, it's a team effort that wins. And if you look at the overall plus/minus stats, the Wings have more team players.
