Of course, another talent that's better in every way than Charlotte is gets fed to her tonight. If she wasn't the daughter of Triple H's man crush...

Honestly no matter what they do I'm not really sold or interested in Ronda Rousey wrestling. She should've just gone to Hollywood.

Rousey is the division currently otherwise it'd be boring with no star power and stars is what we expect out of this company since they have an abundance of cash and a big giant machine somewhere with a magic star making formula that has apparently ran out of formula so they need to go pinch others. She got me and a bunch more to go and watch the highlights on YT. None of the others in the division would have even remotely interested me to go and do that. I watched that and Heyman on a severe downer. He deserves a slammy for that performance lol.

I might watch the good portions to avoid the devolution of my sanity as I watch bad women's matches involving Fox and Dana Brooke. Most likely if the marks go ape shit over a match then I'll scope it but otherwise, nope . I skipped Extreme Rules and only watched the Owens bump for the fun of it. I have settled to only watching Smackdown and a plethora of other promotions including MLW, Impact, New Japan to name a few. Raw reached annoying levels for me, listening to Cole and Coach is testing, I'm even half dreading SSlam because of their shitty comms. At least I'll get some breaks from them I guess. |

I know Ronda is the draw for the women's at the moment; that doesn't mean she's any good because like Brock, when he first returned after his initial UFC run, she's approaching the matches and wrestling like an MMA fighter and not a wrestler. Plus the major problem for me is because of the fact that she's a legit fighter and not a wrestler I can't really buy her wins and losses.
She wins and I think "She should've won, she's an actual fighter!" She loses and I think "She should've won, she's an actual fighter!" I can't buy her wins because she's an actual fighter. I can't buy her loses because she's an actual fighter thus needing shenanigans and bullshittery for me to buy her losing. That is my Ronda WWE problem. |

That's a perspective I haven't heard and it makes sense but her old career doesn't matter, to them at least. Also a lot of fans are 'insider fans' now so I guess that wouldn't cross their minds, the notion of who's literally better. We know it's fake and we fantasy book and pick what they do apart to get a critiques entertainment out of the bad bits and perceived, mostly obvious, poor decisions in the product because so much of what we watch from them isn't really that entertaining anymore, especially Raw. There is usually very little disagreement among fans with the bad and good stuff they produce.

That match was a botch before it even started...
It looks like they had too much time left to the show and Fox and Bliss had to stretch their time out to run for 5-6 minutes of patting themselves on the back before Rhonda even came out. Then once the match started Fox stretched it out even more before they actually started to wrestle. Rhonda did a few power moves and the match was over. Some of Rhonda's moves on Fox looked like she legit hurt her and they went to a quick finish. Would not surprise me to hear Fox is now out with an injury either. |
