Help with picking out a gaming PC
Hi, I'm not much of a PC gamer, this will be my first gaming PC. I'm just going for prebuilt ones. Need guidance on which to pick.

Gaming is about graphics cards more than processor raw power. For gaming the top rig is better.

It does kinda depend though on what kind of games your hoping to play. If your after fast action FPS games then the top machine is far superior as that would give the best frames per second. If your looking at the latest MMO then either machine will do well as thats a more laid back experience. |

The only piece of advice I could offer at the moment is don't get your new PC of eBay, as allot of sellers there have been known to sell fake goods.

A bit of an "outside the box" suggestion, but have you considered looking at a gaming laptop? I'm thinking of the ASUS N56VZ on Amazon for about $1100. Pretty much as good as or better than either builds described.
CPU: Core i7 3610QM 2.3Ghz 8GB RAM 750 GB HDD nVidia GT650M 2GB 15.6" 1920x1080 Display This is actually part of their Multi-media line, but it does a great job as a gaming platform. The ASUS customer support experience is pretty bad, but Amazon is excellent. At the same time, ASUS laptops have a great reputation for durability and value.

I used to feel the same way, but these days, my desktop is used solely as an HTPC/gaming machine permanently attached to my plasma tv.
Ever since starting to use one for work, laptops have become my default, everyday PC. Quote:

Buy Corei7 with 2GB DDR5 Graphic card!!!
I don't suggest to buy it from ebay. Buy it from your nearest pc shop with 1-3 year warranty!!! you can buy cheap items from ebay and buyincoins!!! |
