What is the best app to cut a scene from a movie
Hello
I used to use Avidemux But I have not done this for a while I have a few mp4 and avi videos that I want to cut some bits from. What app do most of you use these days? Easy to use, same quality and free.

Could I suggest that you backup all of your files to an external hard drive and store this offsite. |

I totally understand that it can be a bit confusing with so many options out there. Personally, I have used Avidemux before as well, but I haven't used it in a while. If you're looking for a new app, I would recommend checking out

Don't know about FREE apps, unless . . . well . . . you happen to know someone who could share a spare copy, with you . . .
but, the two apps I use most frequently are Machete, for mp4's up to 2160 res (but, it's limited to starting and stopping at "key frames", so I use it mainly to reduce bulk and file size, for storage, and then take selected segment thru last year's version of Adobe Premier Elements, for real editing), and Bandicut, for VR vids that don't adhere to standard formats such as 16x9 sizes |
