I swear that is always the case. I watched the first Hunger Games movie when it came out on video. Loved it so much I went and got the remaining 2 books. Read Catching Fire in a day and Mockingjay in a couple days. When the movies came out it was such a letdown. The books ruined the movies. The books were so much better!

But I do have to admit that some of the movies were really fun to watch, to be honest. And some people can also say that about for Star Trek, Terminator, Mad Max, Twilight, LOTR, ALIEN, Predator, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, James Bond, M:I, Jason Bourne, etc... even though, I do enjoy them a lot.
They're great to switch off your brain for a couple of hours from all your everyday problems.

To be fair to Toto, and going back to the heady days of the Youth I once had, I remember listening to the Scorpions 'Blackout' and thinking 'what the fuck's all that screaming' took me a few listens, but I did discover it had words.

And as for Danzig, well that guys just a flaming genius.

Never been into proper 'death metal' although my only exposure was Napalm Death's 'Scum' which is enough to put most people off.

Have to agree that death metal delivers nothing but adrenaline and a reason to shout along a lot. All music takes skill to perform but I prefer a song, melody and something deeper than rage. Its just a never ending, redundant form of repetition.

Radiohead are the best band currently in the World and have been for 25 years. Anybody who says they are depressing hasn't listened to them with ears.
