I always get between 150-200 kb/s.

Their consistency is what has kept PlanetSuzy worthwhile IMO. With the decline in popularity of DepositFiles amongst uploaders, both FB and K2S have really filled a niche.

I get two different (non-premium) speed profiles from k2s. One is the same as I get for fboom, namely 200 kB/s for the first two downloads in a day, 150 for the next two, ... um, I forget what comes after that. The other is 120 kB/s for the first few downloads (how many varies depending on traffic, I'm guessing), then 60, then 30.

The two are even independently tracked, so when I'm already downloading files at, say, 120, 60, 60, 60, 30, respectively, and then add a sixth, its speed may be another 30, if it's another one of latter, or it may be 200, if it's one of the former.

I suspect this has to do with the account type of the up(!)loader - can someone confirm that?

The last time I downloaded a file on Fileboom was more than 12 hours ago. And yet, as I try to download a new one just now, it gave me the message "The limit of 3000 files per day is exceeded. Try to continue tomorrow." It has happened often in recent days, even though I haven't download that many files before the message showed up. Is anyone having the same problem?

I am currently downloading a 310mb video I am getting a whopping 32kbps that is pathetic x pathetic. I have a 1Gbit connect I have downloaded stuff at 50mbps to 60mbps before 32kbps S M H

These ridiculous slow download speeds that paying file host give is the #1 why a lot of downloaders have gone back to torrents in the last 5 years.

I have the same issue sometimes though not currently. It usually corrects itself before long.

If you're having troubles with any File Host, disconnect your VPN, turn off your browser, run Ccleaner and then re-run everything. You get a fresh IP address, no history of your previous download. Works for me as a free downloader of <1gb files.

Alternatively turn off your browser, run Ccleaner, re-boot your modem and download using the new IP address.

Yes, your right just after I put that up I did a clean-up and it works fine now. Never had the problem before but I've got a bit lazy lately.
