This would be major news in the hosting comunity as gator is one of the few hosts that is both used by porn uploaderd and uploaders hosting maisntream stuff.

Can't find ceasing info but definitely something odd going on with them.

I get 50kb/s from RG through PlanetSuzy links and 100kb/s through non-PlanetSuzy links. Odd.

If you do what you are not supposed to do: save the link, bookmark the RG link and then turn around and go to the link from the bookmark, not the post, you can defeat that and get the 100 kb/s speed; unless the link has the PS tag at the end of it...(you can try taking off the PS refferer tag at the end just make sure to get the link in the correct form)

Usually works, though now I have tipped my hand; sometimes the download will fail (though that could just be RG and not this trick. It is definitely a bias against Planetsuzy which is a bit funny, imo.

(50 kb/s or 100 kb/s they both suck anyway so avoiding RG is the preferred method)

Usually I can find the files elsewhere either on RG or another host.

Funny!! I haven't used that method in awhile as I spend equal time in another forum that gives RG the 100 kb/s speed.

Premium Rapidgator issue:
Download speed decreases from mbps to kbps to so slow that the download fails.
Retrying file download sometimes makes it try, but the download speed is much slower than initial attempt and it fails, too.
Tried downloading the same file with K2S premium - no issue!

Several Speedtest results with 100 mbps download speeds.
Sent Rapidgator an email hours ago.
