FileServe is another option for uploaders and downloaders... Suggestions from uploader-sided members shouldnt be underestimated i think...

This reminds me of a question though.. should I report 400mb + links that were posted before the clarification that they must be up to 400mb? think I bumped into a few from within the last month... I subscribe to like 150 items. But also have some on the side bookmarked because I don't exactly have an unlimited space alotement. (money)

you do know you added a whole new dimension to the dot on the background debate :P that spider just woke me up.. although I don't mind them when they don't fall out of my hair, did have an earwig (ahem no they aren't Checkov's earache) fall out of my hair. but I find ants to be more annoying than earwigs. ants have no brain. earwigs? funnier than hell. uh yeah. but it's about as effective as finding a horses head in your silk sheets. It's abused. Albeit right now Hotfile would stand the most chance to being banned because it's a sandtrap as the MPAA has sued them and are cracking down on people uploading certain items to it. So if the file is dead it's mostly likely because the user's account has been terminated. I canceled after finding out about this. Not worth the risk. Rapidshare can risk it. Not based in USA, but Hotfiles while based in Panama, the owner lives in Florida. Not good.
So I'd vote for Hotfiles to be banned for obvious reasons. Security. Fileserve is just abused. And if your a mod on any site, you will know this. Never gonna happen

PS has juggled allowed file hosts over the years and learned from the experience. If necessity demands another change, we will look at it. Right now, I personally see no need to change things around.

That's true, but no-one said that you have to allow new hosts in PATM. That in fact would be a superb chance to flood with mirrors, but for those who create collections ? Don't think so...
