What's the matter numbnuts you got cotton in your ears lol, yes I said soccer.
Anyhow, host country France plays Korea Republic today. Korea is made up of both south and north athletes... Canada plays Cameroon Monday and the USA plays Thailand Tuesday to round out Group Play 1. Plenty of other games as well and I will update scores as they come in but feel fre to display your patriotism for your country by posting here. |

I don't mind really much whether Americans call it Soccer or football.
All I do care is that it's a legit worldwide sports organization unlike where worldly titles will have to be won "eventually" by the only teams of the world ie. any American team  And accordingly two (2) national anthems will be heard each game as befitting to any real "world" competition. Not more not less  If I had wanted myself got dragged into this endless and futile argument, of course, I'd definitely say it is football because it is but I won't do that  Seriously though, like every tournament, Americans are the heavy contenders and favorites. Very disappointing VAR decision in the SCO v ENG match yesterday. Kick the ball into a defender's arm and then get yourself a free penalty. Crap, that just ruined the match.
(it's the FIFA women's world cup, Fédération Internationale de Football Association. Facts is facts )

I agree with the VAR comment above considering that replay is supposed to eliminate contraversial calls ...
Canada leads 1 nil going into injury time, make that a final score now. Argentina and Japan played to a scoreless draw earlier Italy shocked Australia with a goal in the final minute of the 5 minute injury time yesterday for a 2-1 shocker. Brazil blanked Jamaica 3 nil and England coasted past Scotland 2-1 in a game that England dominated ... The USA defends its title starting tomorrow against Thailand GO RAPTORS, they can become basketball world champions tonight with a win |
