It's weird because they already had a 'lights out/unsanctioned/all the violence' match and before the Dec. match Kenny made a big deal on how he would win the standard wrestling match to then win via the microphone. So upcoming is the rubber match, even if 'officially' Kenny is 1-0, and it's clearly in Mox's wheelhouse, which feels odd somehow.

If this was WWE, I'd say that obviously there's going to be fuckery abound from Callis, Good Brothers, maybe the Bucks and god knows who else. But AEW doesn't do that stuff nearly as much, which made how Omega won so much more impactful.

Because it's Mox and Omega, I'm pretty confident that the stuff they'll do will be visually impressive, yet safe.

NWA has had all videos removed from YouTube. Don't know if by NWA or a YouTube problem. Meltzler claims NWA has good news coming, but after; covid, losing all talent to AEW/WWE and the death of Josephus/The Question Mark a few days ago, I can see Billy throwing in the towel.

As for AEW the Impact "paid ad" this week was total garbage. Tony had a few wrestlers with him talking trash about the product and even had Brian Cage claim the Impact Championship hasn't been relevant, since he had it. He was the worst Impact champion, who was always injured. The only good match Impact got out of him was when Cage dropped the title to Sami Callihan. Sami's promo on Cage said it best "The Machine, Brain Cage is like the milkshake machine at McDonald's... always broken."

I know Tony Khan is suppose to be heel during these promos, but he claims he's The Forbidden Door and is willing to allow Impact talent to appear on Dynamite for months and only The Good Brothers have appeared. Nothing that happens on Impact involving AEW talent story-wise is brought up on Dynamite. They just make a brief comment somebody has a match against someone on Impact. Zero build up.

The thing is Impact makes AEW talent look better on their show than on Dynamite. Private Party in a triple threat for the Impact Tag titles against The Good Brothers (c) and Chris Sabin & James Storm at the last Impact+ special was their best match.

Then if you haven't heard, Sammi Guevera was sent home for being a troublemaker at the latest Impact tapings. He changed his flight to the first day of tapings and tried to change how he was booked thinking he had pull. Instead of being in the triple threat tournament to be #1 contender for the X-Division title, he wanted to win it, go back to AEW and not defend it. What a tool!

I highly disagree with the only Match Cage had with Impact was with Sami. Did you ever watch Elgin vs Cage over the Impact World Title to me that was his best Match in a good run there that could of been great if not for injuries it happens. I don't mind the way AEW Talent and Staff have been acting towards Impact their suppose to act like megastars and treating Impact like Minor Leaguers. We still don't know the full plan between two or three Companies, but I imagine with Sacrifice coming in a few weeks and Rebellion in April I expect more of this to change. Omega's symbol is on the Rebellion Sign/Poster so he's going to be apart of the event and it should be for the World Title I imagine.

I actually thought Shaq did a lot better than expected. He worked to his strengths, which is that he's a gigantic human being. He delivered a wicked powerbomb and even took a big bump through tables. I enjoyed it.

Penta wrestled indy wrestler Azriel on AEW Dark last week. I might have not known this because I usually don't watch Dark, but I actually know Azriel personally and he was pretty stoked about it.

Penta was in the ladder match on the PPV, gave Cody a destroyer onto a ladder, beginning the angle that has setup a match for next week.

So they're going all in on Callis/Omega being why the explosions didn't work. Working it away the best they can, including some laughs so that's OK I guess. Not sure they could do it if there wasn't the segment prior showing Kenny working in a shop, so fortuitous in that sense.

Last week, I spent a couple minutes wondering who the 4th could be with Tully, FTR and Spears after Tully put up 3 fingers. For some reason I thought maybe some long-winding road to get Cody via Arn. I knew it had to be someone bigger than Spears because he's kinda like AEW's version of Miz without promos. But I figured it'd be a month or so since it was a side story and AEW usually has those simmer for a bit.

Totally wrong on that one. I knew after Sunday that we'd eventually get MJF/Jericho after Jericho goes face, figuring out how Jericho turns without the Inner Circle I didn't get. But then the lights went out and everything fell into place.
