What people are capable of being producing now with CGI is pretty impressive as it is, but still has a way to go. Having said that, I've watched that girlfriends 4ever video, and though it's kind of OTT, it was still hot as fuck.

Hopefully it won't be too long before someone produces the software necessary to allow me to create and direct my own CGI pr0n scenes quickly and easily. When CGI reaches its porn-related stride, I imagine that we'll see a lot more "actresses" working the triple-penetration scene.

Also, I don't know if anyone's pointed this out, but existing porn stars are almost 100% guaranteed to license their likenesses, so that, say, Jenna Haze could live on as a 20-something CGI starlet well into her dotage and beyond.

I think the quality is pretty good too... hopefully they will release a developers edition, which allows people to construct their own scenes and modify the models!

Although I have a feeling some companies would use a business model where the main program actually costs nothing - and they charge for the "templates" of models and scenes etc... so dudes will pay for photo-realistic avatars of Hollywood actresses and singers etc (who might even, secretly or not, get a cut of the profit lol!)
And ofcourse - dudes could pay to have themselves 3D modelled... so we star in the scenes ourselves!

Pay a couple of thousand for a kickass PC setup, and maybe a few hundred more for the software etc (or nothing at all if you are a member here lol!)... and you can make all the porn you want!

No need to put up with temper-tantrums, drunk or drugged up performers, late arrivals or no-shows, crappy boob jobs, shitty tatoos, overweight actresses... and ofcourse, uptight hoes who wont do anal!

That is an awesome train of thought for software. Choose camera angles, thrust speed, skin friction and everything else. The best part about the actresses today though are those unexpected surprises like a creampie that spatters or the look in her eyes when she deep throats more than she meant to. I would have a ball playing with 3D models and generating animations though. Still, real actresses will never have to worry about being needed in the adult industry.

Regarding the degradation of women in porn though, I have to say that they degrade themselves. No one is degrading them without their consent and many times their own direction. You are right, once the CGI models are introduced, their are no humans involved anymore so there is no limit to how you can animate color pixels.
