How to bookmark the "Last Page" of a thread ??

Dudes, how can I make a bookmark that automatically goes to the last page of a thread, so I go straight to the newest posts?

I don't think bookmarking the last page of a thread is possible, the closest you can get to it is the following:

http://veterperementour.ru/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=<thread number>

Replace <thread number> with the number of the actual thread, e.g. 1034762 for this one. That will jump to the first unread post in the thread, or to the last post if there are no unread ones.

I'm not sure you can, as the posts don't actually exist at the point you bookmark it, the bookmark would lead you to the 'last page' at the time you made the bookmark - the nearest thing you can do is what black swan suggested above.

Easy. Ever noticed the -p<number>- part in the thread URL? E.g. this http://veterperementour.ru/t44450-p34-mckenzie-lee.html points to the page 34 (the last page at the moment of writing). Now, if you replace the 34 with some reasonably big number, you'll get a link to last page that should last a while, e.g. you could bookmark something like this: http://veterperementour.ru/t44450-p999-mckenzie-lee.html

usually I have it arranged so the newest posts show up first and oldest posts show up last....

Yes, but I was wondering if there was an automatic way - so I don't have to put the page number in every time!

On the left, Settings and Options.
Edit Options
Go down the page that appears, until you see 'Thread Display Options'
Then change 'Thread Display Mode' from 'Linear - Oldest First' to 'Linear - Newest First'

Please note, that will only work when you are logged in, 'bookmarking' it is still likely to take you to page 1 until you log in.

what crazy-xxx said works for bookmark.

just bookmark the last page then edit that bookmark and change the number after the "p" to 999, as long as there are less than 999 pages in the thread it will always take you to the last page every time you use it, you only edit it the one time and it works forever, logged in or not.
