Maybe they're still apologizing for Windows 8...

the only thing I had to do previous to upgrading was to update the BIOS to latest version.

Now I suddenly have a BSOD issue whenever I use Bluetooth to transfer files... drivers are up to date, so it's not that. Tried a system restore, but it failed because of a registry issue, so I have to try a registry cleaner. If that doesn't work, my BT capabilities may be SOL. (FWIW, the affected file is bthport.sys)

I recall I had a problem with BT on another machine and updating the Intel Chipset driver fixed it. See what the latest versions are on the manufacturers website.

Just wanted to point out that the drivers being up to date does not mean that they are not corrupted, not installed correctly, or just not working properly.
When in doubt, manually reinstall. |

Soooo... MS must be snooping around this discussion...
When the 20H2 update rolled out, it took six months for MS to offer it up to me. Now, it took only nine days for MS to offer the 21H1 update. Of course, I'm not buying into the bullshit yet, so it sits there with its puppy dog eyes, begging me to install it. Has anyone installed it, and, did your computer still work afterwards? I ask for two reasons... one, I have zero desire to go through the week-long install process of 20H2. Two, I haven't heard a whole lot of good things about the update... or bad things, for that matter. It's just... well... there, more or less, according to a Google search for reviews. So I don't have a real jones to want to update...
