It's just for posting images, so why go through leaps & bounds to a host site approved for simply posting images from a secure host.

Some of our current hosts have the same editing abilities when you upload your images. If you think your recommended site has something to offer then it must go on the chopping block to see how it measures up.

BTW, the site only gets one shot so make it count and make sure it meets Planet Suzy's criterea before you submit it

1. Yeah I kinda figured something like that, that sucks.
I was on a different Forum where the creator had that same issue.
So I understand.

2. I have no problem with that either, I'm just wondered because if it works then what was the problem.

I completely agree test blah blah blah cause there's been Image host sites that I've used for years & suddenly poof they're gone or something changed & the Image links stopped working. And so all those posted links became worthless.
But unfortunately that happens with everything, & the time spent testing is less time spent using while they're still good.

The only thing I'm disappointed (other than navigation) with when it comes to this site is I don't post more.
Whenever or if ever LunaPic becomes approved then I'm more then happy to post away.
No problem with me there.

My original issue which is why I kept asking/why I made this thread was because if there was a problem with LunaPic I'd be more than happy to e-mail their Admin with suggestions or LunaPic issues they could hopefully fix/change.

1. I don't know, I never really got into all that.
I know you can edit whatever Images you have stored on a HDD or from a URL.

I'm not trying to promote a site or sell others on an online editing services.
It's just a host service that works. If the Forum can run the links, & they don't redirect back to harmful sites/content, viruses, malware, etc. Then I see no problem.
Going through an approval process doesn't make sense, something I don't understand.

Is planetsuzy's approval process made based on some kinda Art programs or Image Host.
What does the criteria involve?

Free accounts and so forth.

Pretty much similar criterea for free file hosting applies to image hosts as well. We do have some site gurus who produce their own hosting sites and are able to get some good visibility by Planet Suzy allowing them to be used here.

I don't use any sites like that.

That's why I was wondering why this Forum hasn't been using Luna at all awhile ago.


LunaPic is 100% free, otherwise I wouldn't use it at all.
There's no pop ups, what little ads there are on the editor can be turned off.
I don't have an account on LunaPic & I've used it for years on a number of Forums.


I've used Luna through my PSP browser, my PS3 browser, my laptop running windows.
Friends on other Forums are using Luna through varies browser types.

No malware, no viruses, no redirects, no account required.
The Image host links are short.
You can save edited Images straight to your device & or get a URL for posting.

I'm not trying to promote, I'm telling you from experience.

See that's what I was wondering.
I really thought there was something wrong with LunaPic lol.

I'm like what the heck, if this Forum has Luna banned then what's wrong with it. Tell me what I'm missing so I can e-mail the support forum there & ask them what the heck.

But yeah I totally 100% agree with you when it comes to the required criteria, I'm super cautious about sites.
And yes Luna does not prevent AdBlock, I run my browsers in Incognito mode & LunaPic says nothing about it.


Oh & here's something members should love.
Image links have an extremely long expiration date.
Images I've posted years ago are still valid. From 2013.
