The link I provided is for file and image hosts discussion.
I thought it was an image host by the name.

If it is not an all around image host then VampireWicked, you probably have zero chance of accomplishing anything involving that site.

What do you mean?
I use it to edit, resize, host images.
What more does there need to be?




Also how do you get reply notifications?
If I can't my thread then I can't tell if someone has replied to something I've posted.

C'mon.
If I posted in 150 different threads then that's 150 different thread subscriptions.
That's crazy, that would be too many threads to subscribe to.
And that's not even receiving replies specifically towards me or my posts, it's just subscribing to a thread getting alerts that there's a new post.

2. Why?
It's just for posting images, so why go through leaps & bounds to a host site approved for simply posting images from a secure host.

1: If you want to receive notifications, you must subscribe to the thread in question (not every thread you post in), you can always unsubscribe later when you no longer require notifications - forum software will not allow it any other way.

2: Because it's how we do things.
You don't want to go through 'leaps and bounds'? Fine, your choice of imagehost will never be approved.
For at least the last 7 years the staff at this forum have recieved suggestions for new imagehosts in that thread, and tested suggested imagehosts prior to approving them, we're not going to change that.

The more features the better.

I completely understand some Forum host services don't include certain features & options when building a Board & how some are difficult to put together, or don't work on across the majority of browser types.
But doesn't mean they can't be added later.

1: vBulletin 3 was released in 2004.
It's been replaced twice, by vB 4 in 2007, and by vB 5 in 2012, by which time the original devs had buggered off to create xenForo.
Internet Brands declared vBulletin 3 officially 'end of life' in 2017, this place is basically only still running because DragonByte have found a way to keep vBulletin 3 forums operating long after they should have died off, and been replaced with forums running new software.

So, no, these features 'can't be added later' - 'later' was an awfully long time ago.

2: We don't have a 'banned with no explanation' list, we have a 'permitted because we've tested them' list, some things we permit are later removed from the list because testing/feedback indicates they no longer work as they once did.

I'm sorry you are so disappointed with this forum and the way it operates.
