My organization is probably unlike anything used by any other suzy member, so in case anyone is interested, here's a detailed description.

I organize exclusively via a naming system, set up for my particular tastes. Once a clip is correctly named according to my system, I just dump it into a huge folder where all of them sit together. It works for me because I name the clips carefully to fulfill my specific purposes. Because those purposes are so particular, it wouldn't be effective for me to use one of the applications being discussed here.

To understand my system, you have to understand my tastes. Underlying it all is the assumption that the model is attractive to me in the first place, which means a good hip-to-waist ratio, decently skinny and natural breasts (see my post http://veterperementour.ru/showpost.p...&postcount=149). If at least one model doesn't fulfill my criteria, I don't get the clip. OK, with that fundamental requirement in place, what's most important to me is the model's posing. I like the back arched (hate convex positions; do a search on pornhub for the clip entitled "Tik Tok Arch Challenge Doggystyle Level - TinyTaya", which says it all). I also like to see the hips flaring out. And I want to see breasts hang naturally or sensually caressed, not being scrunched like wastepaper by some ape, or worse, by the woman herself. All other criteria are secondary. E.g. what fetish might be featured matters not a whit as long as I can see her body the way I like it. Camerawork and the studio's editing choices have a lot to do with this; of course no camera angle will save a part where the model is in a convex position, but let's say she's in one of my favorite positions, doing cowgirl with a good concave back arch--it will still be worthless if the editors decide to use a direct top-down shot where all you see are the top of her tits and her head. Unfortunately, that sort of wonky editing choice ruins great posing all the time.

Given these problems, I carefully select the clips I download (kudos to suzy for requiring screenshots!), and then I have to edit them with a video-editing program. Most clips 20-25 minutes, even with great models that fulfill all my criteria, yield on average only two to three minutes of material that I find satisfactory. This is why the organizing apps wouldn't work very well for me: I don't retain whole clips, just very short parts of them. The clip itself is not important, only a few carefully chosen segments inside it.

ORGANIZATION

Once I've edited the clip, my naming system comes into play. My system is divided into six categories:

1. subjective quality of the material I end up keeping. There are 7 tiers: 1ok, 2decent, 3nice, 4verynice, 5xlnt, 6fab, 7awesome. (Out of around 1000 edited clips, I only have three awesomes.)

2. Type of activity. Despite the endless possibilities here, I use only seven subcategories: Solo, BJ, hetro, lez, threesome, foursome, and for more actors than that, multi.

3. Breast size. Instead of using exact sizes, I have my own subsystem with six subcategories: tinyT, smallT, medsmallT, medT, medlgT, lgT. Some days it doesn't matter; others, you're just in the mood for a serious rack.

4. length of clip by minute, rounded up or down at the 25- or 45-second mark. I.e. if I edit a clip down to one minute and fifteen seconds, I'll categorize it as 1min. If it ended up being a minute and fifty seconds, I'll categorize it as 2min. If the edit ends up being extremely short, below forty-five seconds, I use the exact number of seconds (e.g. 32secs).

5. Model name.

6. Clip title, abbreviated if very long.

7. Studio or distribution company, usually abbreviated.

As an example, a Gianna Dior clip entitled "She's Great" from LotsOclips.com might be edited and then renamed thus:

USAGE

The last three categories, 5, 6 & 7, are necessary only to avoid downloading duplicate clips. This is negated in those instances where a clip is given a new title and redistributed by a differently named company, which is REALLY annoying, but most of the time it works. That's why these criteria are last; they're unimportant for actual usage.

The rest of the criteria are crucial for my usage: easily selecting clips for playlists. When your average clip is only 3 minutes long, you need to aggregate a few of them into short playlists in order to be useful. My system allows me to do that with a high degree of efficiency. Quality is by far the most important category, which is why it comes first. I usually grab several different levels of quality, starting with 1ok as a warmup and ascending from there. If I'm in the mood for a particular type of activity or breast size I can make those choices as well. I use the timings to ensure that I have a playlist of a sufficient length; and that's pretty much it.

So my naming system, idiosyncratic as it may be, allows me to use my collection in the most efficient way for me.

I found EazyFlixPix, but it hasn't been updated for over half a year. I was impressed with its functionality. But he had an old interface and he wanted to add his own features. so I coded this app. so far there is a version for Windows, but soon I will add support for Linux and Mac OS.

btw, what do u use to edit clips down?

i frequently wish to do so myself -- not so much for pr0n, but on video in general (like extracting 2 min scene from sitcom for "spam" use; ditto 5 or 10 sec clip even, à la giphy) -- but it's been such a hassle that i rarely try anymore.

too many overlays and complicated editing modes -- would like an app which just takes "start time" and "end time" and spits out the new clip. is that so hard to do?!

Example: doggy style when the woman's legs are not in close together but instead are spread far out. In that case, when viewed from various angles but especially from the man's POV, the woman's waist flares outward like an Egyptian pyramid even if the model's normal (standing) hip-to-waist ratio isn't the best. This happens a bit less dramatically, but still nicely, in cowgirl too.

Boy was I sloppy when I wrote that. I hadn't really thought it through explicitly--I just kind of evolved my system as I went along--and when I look at what I actually do, I'm using the 45-second mark as the boundary for both rounding down and up. Anything 44 seconds or lower gets rounded down to the next lowest minute, and anything 45 or higher gets rounded to the next highest minute. Completely arbitrary, and doubtless unmathematical, but it works for my purposes--I don't want to use seconds in my video filenames unless there's no choice because the clip has been edited to less than a minute. In that case I just use the exact number of seconds ("32secs" or whatever). But if the clip comes out to a minute or greater, I don't want to use up extra space in the filename by typing "1min17secs". I just want a nice round "1min"(or "5min" or whatever). So I happily turn into Procrustes and shorten or lengthen as the case requires.

what do u use to edit clips down?

I use a shareware program called VideoReDo that does exactly what you want. A quick search will toss you onto its website in less than a minute. It's not exactly cheap, but I decided it was worth paying for the capability you're talking about, and I've never regretted it. It's a fabulous program that works like a charm.

Since the demise of EasyPlixPics I’ve struggled to find a program as good. I tend to organize my video clips similar to everyone else in separate folders be it via studio, model or activity.
But a lot of times a clip lends itself to maybe two, three or more folders so surely there must be a good tagging program out there where you can tag a clip with numerous tags and there after search by the tagging program, for say model and the program would search your library and highlight all the clips featuring said model, even if they were in separate folders.
Anyone know if there’s such a program? Thanks
