Cash-in-transit (CIT) driver Leo Prinsloo has reportedly received death threats after foiling an attempted heist in Pretoria.

News24 reported on Wednesday that Prinsloo and his family had since been placed under protective guard.

“Because of whoever is behind the organised crime, Prinsloo has received death threats on his life, so we are just taking it seriously,” Deon Coetze, the managing director at Fortis Pro-Active Defence Solutions, where Prinsloo worked was quoted as saying.
