Couldn't connect to Rapidgator at all today. Error messages about not waiting the required time and connection errors.

Need recommendation for best open-source, bloatware/adware-free download manager that will work with gator.

I'm usually just a free downloader but I've now accumulated a ton, and I mean a ton, of gator links. So it's going to be worth my while to get a one-month premium, copy all the links into a download manager, and let it go automatically.

The problem is finding the right download manager. I did some research and settled on uGet (http://ugetdm.com) but can't get it to work with gator. I don't have the prem membership, but still, after you've done the captcha and gotten the link, I would assume it should work. No dice.

Obviously the program has to be configured, etc., but once that's all done, I'm looking to copy a whole tonload of links onto the clipboard, paste them into the manager, and with another button-click or two it should simply start downloading them into my designated directory. uGet is supposed to be able to do this, but I can't even get it to work properly with a single gator file. The uGet dialog shows the gator URI and the proper *.rar file, but when you press "download" it errors out ("Message: server response code 404").

So does anyone know of a solid open-source manager that will work with gator? Of course, Jdownloader is out of the question. I remember using Free Download Manager to do this once upon a time (back in 2015), but since then FDM has gone dodgy and gained adware.

In all my years of downloading I have never had this happen/ workout:

Downloaded 2 files at the same time; different sizes. One from Fboom, one from Rapidgator. The Fboom file was 1 gig, the RG file 362Mb. They both took exactly, within seconds, the same time to download; both finishing within a couple seconds of the other.

It was comical to watch; kept checking on the 2 files and they tracked exactly the same!

RapidGator's "speed" is really absurd; 50 kb/s!

Another thing with gator. Per the post just two above, I'm currently doing a gator premium. (After further advice from another suzy member I went ahead with Jdownloader and am very happy with it.) But when I log into my gator account, my bandwith figure doesn't budge. This is a problem. I know by know that I've used up around a quarter of my allowed 1TB, but gator still says "Bandwidth Available: 1022.81 GB of 1TB".

How can I get gator to show me the accurate figure?

Rapidgator downloads have been failing at a rapid rate for me over the last few weeks. Takes at least two attempts for success.

It's constant and I just quit complaining and go find the file on another service. And I just love how when it does work Planetsuzy gets half the speed that other sites get!

I hear Rapidgator is ceasing operations so if you have an account like me probably best to find another file host. I did not renew last month, went to FJ.
