I hope when he dies this week and regenerates we see him turn into the new Doctor but knowing them we will have to wait and then down the road they will make a big deal out of his selection.

Maybe they'll fool us and it will turn out to be the planet Voga from the time of the 4th Doctor's run-in with the Cybermen. The ones with the guns on top of their heads.

The Doctor lies in that preview. He isn't the only thing that can stop Cybermen.

I wanna see the Battle of Canary Wharf II.

Really would make you cheer for the little pepperpots.

It just occurred to me... if Bill really is dead (well, a cyber anyway) that would be a waste of a perfectly good character. She loves the show, and doesn't want to leave it.

She does remind me a bit of Patrick Troughton. I wonder if...

Missy seems to really like Capaldi. Maybe...

Nah. That would be too silly.

Am I the only person on this forum who felt that this was some of the best Doctor Who since Capaldi took over as the Dr? It was full of so many twists and turns. Not only did we have the Mondasian Cybermen (still scary after all these years) fighting alongside their modern counterparts, but we also had Missy and the Master both as barmy as each other. I loved the touches to the past especially with the Doctor offering the little girl a Jelly Baby (reference to Doctor Who No. 4 - Tom Baker). I loved the twist where Missy stabbed the Master as she wanted to stand with the Doctor only to find herself shot in the back by the Master in a final act of petty rage! Even Bill and Nardole ended with some degree of happiness. The best twists were left to the end; not only did we have Capaldi referencing the David Tennants' Dr. "I Don't Want to Go " line, but rather than morph into his next incarnation he comes face to face with "the original Doctor" brilliantly played by David Bradley reprising the role of William Hartnell he had played in the 50th Anniversary Special "An Adventure through Time and Space". Christmas looks set to be a roller coaster of an episode and a very special "special" I can't wait.
