I just would like to know, why so many uploaders just use fb or k2s. Can someone explain that to me? There are hundreds of filehost. But whenever I see interesting things they are uploaded to k2s or fb. Why???
The download speed is not good. 150kb/s is slower than other hosts like dfiles. bigfile, filejoker etc and you even have to be grateful for 150kb/s when you click links here. When you are on other forums the speed is 30kb/s, 50kb/s or 120kb/s.
And no matter what size you download you have to wait 60 minutes for the next download. Others dont have that restriction. And I have the impression that on one day many files are uploaded on fboom and on the other day on k2s. But I guess that is just an coincidence or sth. But I am sure about the rest.

So please someone explain to me what makes fb and k2s so attractive for uploaders? What do they offer them that others don't? I am really tired of it. It's not the best for downloaders so there must be something appealing for uploaders. Whenever I see a thread that is interesting and I see a dfiles-link I get happy like a kid that gets ice cream or chocolate

I think someone mentioned before there is benefits for uploaders who use k2s and that is the reason why it is so popular almost everywhere
for me my download speed is like 110 kps and at k2s it is 55 kps only
i just explore threads to find depositfiles files and download them because i get 110 kps there
about waiting for 60 minutes after each download, well i turn off my router for few seconds then i open it again
that changes my IP as it is dynamic address so it changes every time i turn off the router
if you have a dynamic IP address, meaning not a static one that doesn't change no matter what then you can close the router and open it again and start downloading without waiting 60 minutes
about the half speed, i recently gathered few depositfiles links for files that are over 2 gb and i download them and set the speed to 55 kps and i download a file from k2s and when it is finished i pause the depositfile download restart the router and start downloading another file from k2s
that way i get full speed used all the time and make a full use of the ability to pause downloads from depositfiles.

Yes Zippyshare, dfiles, bigfile are nice. Filejoker is also ok. I dont like k2s and fboom. rapidgator and datafile are worse
People that use cooler filehosts really deserve a superthanks.
Always switching the router off and on again can be annoying and sometimes I need a continous connection.
I remember the days when everything was on rapidshare but back in these days there were not many filehosts. And rapidshare disappeared.
I just wished the forum would have a rule for something like that there must be alternative links or something. I really can't stand threads with only k2s links. Especially when I see like one file of 800 mb is splitted in three k2s links

for me fileboom is horrible as well as filejoker. I get good speeds from k2s, depositfiles, and datafile.

For every thread like this that says "why these filehosts" there could be others complaining about the ones which might work best for you.

If I see something that I want to download but not on a host I like I go search elsewhere. It's pretty easy most times to find considering how much porn and forums there are.

Uploaded has those horrible sales adverts.

Perhaps the OP should buy a premium account with Kc2 as they are so popular for his needs. I have and its very fast no captachs and quite fast.

Depositfiles is the fastest for me by far, and Keep2Share has been blacklisted by my credit card so can't use that anymore, too bad.

NO!

Almost all host give money (not sure for mega, zippy, openload, 1fichier or other host with very good speeds - i get from 1 mb/s to 10 mb/s on these) but the big 2 (RG and FB/K2S ) are popular because they are very stable (no deletion of accounts, good upload speeds, fair download speeds for free users -only for FB/K2S-, payments made on time, etc).

DF deletes the uploader's account on 3-5 dmca's and UL had that problem with the spam ads but the download speed for free users was not great also (70 kb to reg users).

Also many boards allow only a few hosts and this is why we have only RG and FB/K2S links.

I know that we all have good donwload speeds and we want to find content fast and with fast hosts but nothing is free in this world and we all should try to understand that and maybe buy 1 month premium now and then if we really want fast speeds.

PS: i earn less on FJ+FB/K2S than i did when i had uploaded on DF...
