WWE would sign her, it feels like they'd hoard every wrestler if they could. According to Meltzer they knew about the comments Lars made before they signed him... And they brought back Hogan even though many were pissed about it.

AEW need a real women's division because the one they've got is a joke. It's only gonna get better with more talent and can't deny she can go. If she fucks them over then it proves she's a fucking idiot because I can't imagine with the lax outlook that it'll be anything they do. I wouldn't blame the company for taking the chance.

I wouldn't call the AEW Women's Division a joke in my opinion. I would say it's good with the ability to get better if they find more spots for the ladies to shine. Right now it's Shida at the top which I love being a Joshi fan, and everyone down from her is a good to solid chasing her. Britt Baker seems like the top Heel even though she isn't the best Wrestler and the signing of Tessa would help greatly no doubt. I see more though Tessa doing a run in Japan and waiting to see the heat off of her for a little bit and then signs with a Company in the States. I know one thing AEW should use Sadie Gibbs and Shanna more going forward both ladies I saw in Stardom and both are starving for an opportunity to shine.

I can't take Shida seriously. She's got such a cutey face. Britt is a comedian, I don't see her as a top heel. I laugh at her not wanna see her get taken down. I forgot about Shanna, she's got a nice ass and is decent. I forgot about Gibbs too, she's like the British version of Penelope, only more muscular. The fact I forgot they existed means I couldn't give a crap though. Ruby Riott is more interesting than those two and she's down the pecking order. I know it's a different company but you probably get my point.

You got a point there, and yeah for their women's division, they are going to need as much talent as they can, i take it there is a low number for that roster, and not much is being done to bring up more interested in that division.

I could totally see Vince signing Tessa as a distraction from their awful Covid response and as a way to star power up the women's division in the wake of no Becky, no Ronda and (short-term) no Charlotte. Not sure the first would work, the second is a slap in the face to the women who they are using(or not using).

WWE is basically like Barcelona/Real Madrid; if it's someone they want to sign, they get them unless the person doesn't want to go. So the fact they didn't sign Tessa last year means there was almost certainly something that was reason to walk away then.

My point was that starting from THAT, now add in the allegations that come out around when she won the Impact championship AND the circumstances around why she got fired AND probably a higher salary demand because of the title reign. Why would it be a better idea now?

Signing people to keep them away from other companies only works for so long. It's almost certain that Moxley took less money for the creative freedom, same with FTR in all likelihood. They probably overpaid Edge to keep him, although they probably come ahead through all the merch sales on that one.

Tessa probably doesn't move merch to cover her salary number and no clue as to when they would then be in position to have her not put enough butts in the seats. The TV deals are locked in for like 4 years so it's not like more viewers just suddenly creates more money that way either. Although stopping the parade of lowest-ever Raw viewers could have some value.

I'm sure Trips will try his best bullshit pitch to win her over though. I think the reality is no female is reaching Flair level. Oh, they overpaid Edge, he made sure of that, even though I think there was no way he was going to AEW, just like when Orton teased to get more. I doubt Moxley is making less now, his merch will be higher than that of WWE because he doesn't have to split it with the Shield and I can't even remember Ambrose merch. I'm sure he had some but unless your on top you ain't making shit from it. He did get kickback from the video game though. FTR definitely took less, they don't seem to be signed so they could show up anywhere.

Honestly, while Tessa is known to people like us, the large number of people who watch won't have a clue. If they don't mention it, MAYBE some will wonder if she's related to Tully. From that respect, him being in AEW hurts as WWE couldn't package them together and do some probably awful over-gimmicked feud with the Flairs.

Charlotte is the centerpiece of WWE women's division and will be until she stops. Ronda and Becky got more into the rest of the world, but the plan was always Charlotte going over Ronda at last year's Mania. It took Becky pulling a D-Bry to get them to change their minds and even then they still had to shoehorn Charlotte in there.

The worst kept secret in wrestling is that Charlotte is going to get a 17th title reign to pass Ric. Her going for 16 and 17 are going to be potentially nauseating at how much they'll mention it.

Anyone getting bored of Cassidy? Everyone seems to think he's gonna be a big star but with that gimmick he can't even cut a promo. I feel like after that match we've now officially seen it all with him and it's only downhill from here. I guess if the fans were there I'd of enjoyed the match more but I was expecting something great since Jericho put it out there as one of his best. Guess he's got a case of the bullshits too. Don't these guys realize they lose cred with some by doing that.

Next weeks show looking forward to though but where do they go with Cage if he loses? I don't get the rocket strapping big guys like Archer and Brody who have fallen so fast. Are they really trying to make stars or not. Is it one big buddy buddy get together every week because that's what it feels like.
