I tried to empty my trash of "Carracho 1.0b10r2" with Permanent Eraser. Permanent Eraser cannot erase file listed above. Just what is "Carracho?" I tried using Spotlight to find file but I could not. Where can I find "Carracho?"

2004 Looks like it's been there for a while and it looks like you are using a Mac as far as I can see. Not a Mac guy so dunno

Are you using a PPC Mac or one of the latest Intel ones? Also, what version of OS X you have?
You may try CCleaner for Mac or CleanMyMac X, which delete almost every single App leftovers and hidden files.

Try launching 'force quit' and use it on all the applications listed in the window that comes up, then try using the permanent eraser again on those files.

I use a Mac; run OX El Capitan. How can I find the following: "/Users/elcapitanhd/.Trash/carracho 1.0610r2"? If I can find it, can I just go to this place and delete/trash it?

I always been told to use the uninstall in the control panel and not to manually delete a program folder?

Sometimes files are left over after an application has been removed.

What I do, to remove any app, is use AppCleaner: you drag the app in there, and it will place there all associated files, and move them to the trash. From the trash, I move them to Permanent Eraser and nuke them.

In many ways the new OSX version are an improvement, but the lack of secure erasing files and free space was a bad idea.

I understand one can perform these tasks in Console, but I avoid going there in case I mess up and fuck my machine.

Still, Permanent Eraser, while not being able to scrub free space, is pretty good for nuking files.
