I was thinking of starting to contribute some videos but I am not sure if anyone is earning any money off of the downloads in some way.

Or are all of the contributors doing this pro bono?

I just want to know if I am missing something.

No back in 2008 to 2011 was the time you could make the most $$ from uploading a lot of people were making $150 to $400 some even making $850+ a month. Now days people uploading for $$$ make $15 to $30 a month not even worth it nobody is making $75+ a month now.

I actively post on 2 forums, using multiple file hosts set at Pay Per Download, invested 9 months and 2-5 hours a day. I have accumulated $120 which is split between 3 different file hosts. These file hosts require a minimum $50 before you can cash in. My time could be better used elsewhere but I upload because I enjoy sharing and want free users to have more download options other than K2S. K2s dominates and appears to be the main monetary host (they only do Pay Per Sale) supported by this forum. If you do become an upstart uploader...embrace the grind and don't expect to make a large sum of money.

JohnnyJuice its pretty easy to earn money on uploading porn ... if thats what you want.

And its not a problem to earn a lot more than DJboutit is saying.

If uploaders only earn 15$ - 30$ per month why is the word cash whore used so often lol.

To cashwore any $$ is better than no money even is it is only like .75 to $2 a hr.

Well I still make that money and more...once you have a dedicated group of followers you can still earn a lot of money but you have to go for hosts that have pay per download and not go for hosts that have pay per premium sale...you hardly earn shit that way...cuase a lot of people allready have a premium account and if they renew it they ussely go to an uploader they like...

I'd say do it in your spare time for some extra money, don't rely on it for income. Unless you're really crushing it of course, then go all in.

Do posters get paid by the volume of their posts: the size of their posts? In other words is it in their interest to have larger file sizes?

I just ran across a video that I have somewhere that is around a 200 mb file, iffy quality 720 video produced privately by a pornstar, one of her videos, that has magically become a 4k 2 gb video; It was barely filmed in 1k. It's the same video!

This is not the first video I have seen this happen with.

Is it in the posters interest to jack up video's, upconvert them, through conversion software to make more money?
