Cancel the download and then restart it. You will lose whatever you had downloaded; but going that slow that isn't much. When I reload/ restart the download I get the 200 kb/s speed.

I use Firefox and I hit the x button in the downloads to cancel and the just hit the reload button that replaces the x button.

The issue I get is that the pages takes ages to load and when I click the download burtton it took so long the page moved on before the download started.

Going through the process again and the download started (at 200k)

Last time I brought a problem to the problems page it was for K2s and Fboom; a problem I still have, just had, and nobody else seems to be having/reporting the problem....

So nice to have camaraderie on this DepositFiles problem/problems (not me or my internet connection)...

I also constantly get the "eternity to load" the page problem. I just wait though it also often takes me back to the capcha to start again... I still am so grateful for DepositFiles.

All of these problems, with DF and Fboom/K2s started when the Coronavirus lockdowns began. There are so many more people in the forums and downloading that they are overloaded. There has to be a correlation.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one. What I found to work is slightly different, though. Instead of cancelling, I pause the download and after five seconds or so just resume the download and it seems to do the job (firefox).
It goes to usual 200 kb/sec routine

Ha! Here's a weird one ...

This one page is slow to load but eventually tells me I need to wait a minute ...
It's already been a minute so I reload and it tells me the file has been removed ...
I try again and the file is available and downloads.

I've kind of had that happen but never went for the third time! Damn! I just assume I had been misled and the file was never actually there.

In the middle of downloading a 3 part 1.7 gig file; downloaded the first part earlier this morning; now tried to download the 2nd part and I keep getting "Server Not Found"?

Despite not being widely used I still manage to regularly, daily, find files to download on Df. I also have the few files I have posted on Df.
